1. About us

Essex Headlight Restoration ("we", "us", "our") is a sole-trader mobile vehicle service operating across Essex and Greater London. You can contact us on 07958 444056 or hi@essexheadlightrestoration.co.uk.

2. Quotes and pricing

Prices listed on this website are correct at the time of publication. Final quotes may vary based on the condition of the lenses, the number of vehicles, location, and any additional services. All quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued unless stated otherwise.

3. Payment

Payment is due in full once the work is complete and you are satisfied with the result. We accept bank transfer and cash. We do not currently accept card payments on site.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel or reschedule a booking up to 24 hours before the agreed appointment with no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a £15 wasted-trip fee at our discretion.

5. The guarantee

Every job includes our UV ceramic sealant as standard and comes with a 12-month guarantee. If the treated lenses develop visible yellowing, hazing or oxidation within 12 months of the work being completed, we will return and re-treat them free of charge. The guarantee covers the lens surface treatment only and does not cover:

6. What we will not do

If we arrive and find that the headlight lens is cracked, internally damaged, or has moisture sealed inside the unit, we will not carry out the restoration — restoration would not solve the problem. We will tell you up front and refund any deposit. There is no charge for a refused job in this case.

7. Site access and conditions

You must ensure we have safe and lawful access to the vehicle at the agreed address. Restoration cannot be performed in heavy rain or temperatures below 5°C — if the weather makes the job unsafe or impractical on the day, we will reschedule with no charge.

8. Liability

We carry public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to direct damage caused by our negligence and capped at the value of the work performed, except where liability cannot be limited under UK law (such as death or personal injury caused by negligence). Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

9. Photos and reviews

We may take before-and-after photos of your vehicle for our portfolio, social media and website. Number plates and any identifiable details will not be displayed. If you would prefer no photos are taken or used, just tell us at the time and we won't.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
